Making Mini Memories — A calm, screen-free hour with gentle miniature horses near Roseville
A palomino miniature horse standing calmly in a sunlit oak pasture

A calm, screen-free hour your kids will talk about all week.

Private visits with four gentle miniature horses, twenty minutes from Roseville. No riding, no experience, nothing to prove. Just an unhurried morning together.

The good weekend

You have done the trampoline park. Twice.

It is Friday night and you are scrolling the same three options again. The loud one, the expensive one, or another morning that quietly turns into screens.

You keep meaning to plan something gentler, the kind of morning your kid actually remembers. This is that morning. An hour of brushing soft manes, walking a little horse down a shaded trail, and watching your child go quiet and focused in a way a tablet never manages.

What the hour is

One hour. One family. Four little horses.

Willow, Coco, Charlie, and Rocky.

Your visit is private, booked for your group and no one else, so it stays as calm as it looks. You will groom the minis, learn to lead them safely, and take a slow walk together under century-old oaks. The horses are gentle and used to small hands. Everyone leaves with a coloring page of the herd and, usually, a favorite. Grandparents are welcome. So are nervous four-year-olds who need a minute to warm up.

Walking a miniature horse down a shaded trail

Walk the shaded trail

A slow stroll under the oaks. No schedule, no rush.

Why it feels different

Not a petting zoo. Not a riding lesson. Not a party you have to survive.

No crowd

Your hour is yours alone

One group per visit, so the calm is real, not a promise the crowd breaks.

No skill

Nothing to learn, nothing to buy

There is no gear and no experience needed. Just show up and be together.

No numbers

Horses with names, not numbers

Willow, Coco, Charlie, and Rocky have real personalities. Your kids will pick a favorite within minutes.

No age limit

Every age, the same hour

A cautious toddler and a visiting grandparent enjoy the same pace, which the trampoline park cannot say.

The setting

A genuinely peaceful place, not a marketing promise.

Making Mini Memories takes place at Ride To Walk Stables in Penryn, an eighteen-acre therapeutic-riding ranch with a hundred-year-old barn and open pastures under big oaks.

The calm you feel when you arrive belongs to the place. We did not have to stage it.

Real families, real visits

The kind of morning families come back for.

We are a new, small, family-run business, so we would rather show you than tell you. Here are real families on real visits.

Perfect for a slow Saturday, a birthday that is not a bounce house, or the weekend Grandma is in town.

Come make a mini memory.

Tell us a little about your group and the day you have in mind. We read every message ourselves and reply personally, usually within a day.
